My wife and I have been looking at houses for almost a year. Saturdays full of walk-throughs, and disappointments times after time. On our last attempt, our offer was accepted by the seller, only to once again be let down after the home inspection revealed far too many issues that we were willing to take on as first time home buyers.
We really never considered building because we thought it would be too far out of our price range, but then we came across a Ryan Homes new development called Natures Preserve in Twinsburg Township, Ohio. Beautiful secluded community surrounded by the Tinkers Creek nature preserve. The area is full of wildlife with beaver dams, bald eagles, and even an alpaca farm!
The Ravenna floor plan really captured what we were looking for in a home. The 9 ft. high ceilings and open kitchen family room flow were on the top of our list of features we were looking for. We found the starting price to actually be pretty reasonable considering the upgrades you get right off the bat. I have seen the same floor plan in other communities start at much lower price points, except they do not include granite, flooring credit, large lot sizes etc...
Janet is the sales rep over at Natures Preserve and she found a perfect lot for us. It is a large corner lot that backs right up to the preserve. The home will face east so we will get the morning sun shining through our windows and the afternoon sun on our back deck (when we build one some day).
We ended up signing the papers the same day which made my wife a very happy person!
